Diesel Generators and uses

The diesel generator is a piece of equipment whose use is indicated for applications that require greater power and/or continuous operation, since this fuel burns at a higher temperature, compared to other types, such as gasoline, and therefore it is more efficient and guarantees more power to the generator.

  1. First, the air is forced into the generator until it is compressed;
  2. Subsequently, diesel is injected;
  3. The combination of these two processes, the compression of the air and, subsequently, the injection of the fuel will contribute to generating the (intense) heat that triggers the ignition of the fuel.
  4. The combustion of the diesel starts the generator, causing the central axis to move, and transforming the mechanical energy into electrical energy, with the help of the alternator;
  5. Thus, the generator begins to produce the necessary electrical energy to be distributed according to the needs of the equipment connected to it or of the place/space that it is going to supply.
